My
studies
included
a
one-year
stay at
the
University
of
Warwick/UK.
I have been working as a freelance translator for various translation agencies and direct clients since 2000.
Prices and Software
I usually work on a per-word basis. My rates start at 0.12 Euro per word (source language). The actual rate depends on various factors (subject area, volume, urgency, etc.) and is negotiable. For all other work (editing, proofreading, technical services) I charge an hourly rate starting at 37 Euro. My average capacity is 2,500 words per day. This may vary depending on the complexity of the work.
I use SDL TRADOS Studio 2019, MemoQ, Translation Workspace, Xbench, etc.
I also work with cloud-based translation tools such as Smartling, XTM and MemSource.
